Do you require a deposit when booking?

A deposit equal to the first night is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is payable at the hotel

For non-refundable bookings, the full balance is required at time of booking and is not refundable. Non-refundable rates are set at a 5% reduced rate


Do I get my deposit back if I need to cancel?

Deposits are refundable up until 14 days before arrival. For cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, the hotel will not refund the deposit

For cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival, the deposit will be refunded less a £20 admin fee

In the event of a no-show or booking reduction after arrival, the full cost of the booking is charged


Is there a minimum night stay?

We accept stays of any duration


Is breakfast included and do I need to book?

Breakfast is included in the rate for guests and there is no need to book

Breakfast is served between 08:00 — 10:00

We serve alt milks, GF and vegan options at breakfast


Where is the car park?

Parking is charged at £6 per night

We have spaces for guests in a private car park at the rear of the hotel located on Skidden Hill as well as reserved spaces in the St Ives train station car park which is very nearby

Parking permits are required for all spaces and need to be displayed for the duration of your stay

We have one parking space per room

How far is Harbour View House from the train station?

We are no more than a five minute walk from St Ives train station. After a short stroll through and out of the station car park you will find yourself at Harbour View House


What is check in and check out time?

Check-in is from 15:00 — 21:00

Check-out by 11:00

Late check in is available upon request and we can store bags for early arrivals. Please let us know in advance if either is relevant to you


Do you accept pets and children?

Harbour View House does not accept pets or children

We do not have family rooms and the maximum amount of people we can accomodate per room is two people


How can I pay?

Please note, we do not accept cash

We accept all major credit cards
